She, thereafter, attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where she earned her DDS degree and was elected into the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr Kher then completed her specialty training in orthodontics at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She is currently an Orthodontic Attending at the dental department in Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center , and has been teaching dental residents there for over eight years. Dr Kher is particularly involved in cases that need orthognathic surgery as well as braces. While in private practice, she actively went the extra step of becoming Board Certified in her specialty, a distinction not held by all practicing orthodontists today.
